This was a really beautiful read, thank you. I loved your images and description of the colours in the sky...magenta, wow! Your timely post reminded me of a quote I love, “In difficult times carry something beautiful in your heart”. (Blaise Pascal I believe...) xx

I also meant to add to that comment that I became a part of a sky lovers group (it wasn’t called that...possibly something to do with clouds?) on Facebook a while back. So joyful! I’ve seen some incredible things through that. I hardly go on FB anymore but it’s always a gift to be greeted by a stunning sky if I do need to open it for anything. Xx

Ooh lovely! I don't really do FB these days either but I might have to seek out this group. I can't get enough sky pics!

I’m the same way with skies, I’m never not in awe of or excited by them, & because others know I love the sky, I’m often sent beautiful pictures as a “thinking of you!” message, which I love.

Enjoyed this piece & the sky pics💕💕

Aww that's so lovely, Cyrene.

One of my friends and I call ourselves 'sunset hunters' and our WhatsApp chat is 90% sky piccies! I'll also think of you now when I see a gorgeous sky too

Seeking out beauty in nature is a tonic for me too. I’ve lost count of the number of sunrise and sunset photos I’ve taken from my window. We currently look onto a golden field. It’s post harvest and it’s lovely...definitely one of the gifts of relocating to the countryside 🥰

That sounds beautiful. I really think it is a gift too, Sarah. To have access to that awe at the start or end of the day is powerful.

Thanks for this, Janelle. I loved the audio of this week's letter, and your reading of the poem is beautiful. Those skies, too. Lush. x

Loving these sky photos, and the poem! This post is as ever a treasure trove of much-needed beauty doses. I dragged myself out for a run this morning despite reallllly not wanting to, but the misty sunshine and the sky at that time was a lovely reward!
