I love this! It’s amazing what shifts around when you ask the right questions of yourself and put yourself in an environment where it’s easiest to think and answer. I’m running a journaling session tonight at 7.30 if you’d like to further it. Let me know and I’ll give you the link x

It really is. Aw thank you Sarah! Sadly I can't make this evening but I'd love to hear of future ones.

Love this and love how nature/ walking inspires us. Excited to see what you’ve got on the horizon

Oh I totally need to do this. I downloaded Otter the other day but haven't done anything with it. And walking, yes, who knew! Hahaha we all knew but we (I) don't do it enough 😂

I was speaking with someone recently that actually writes most of their books this way. I'm curious to try it and you've reminded me to do so!

Ooh let me know how you get on. I know some people do dictate their books. Amazing! I don't think I could at all. But for chatting ideas out loud to myself. All good!

Yeah there's definitely a barrier for me in dictating fiction, but maybe that's just because I haven't tried it. Or maybe I fear I'll sound strange if anyone overheard!

Would love to have you at the next one!

So interesting - I have recently started recording my ideas into voice notes because for me the problem is that they tend to behave a little like mist or a dream:

the more grasper I at them,

the fader they away...

(Excuse the ee cummings explanation,

I couldn’t let it pass!)

I never thought of combining it with walking - I tend to do it while behind the wheel.

I will definitely try the perambulatory approach!!

As always your post is an absolute AHA! for me, Janelle! Thank you again for showing up and sharing your wisdom each week. 🤗
